Rates in Tangier: from 180 to 4,500 MAD a day depending on the model, the same as in our other cities, with no surcharge and no delivery fee. Each car above shows its price, and insurance is stated on its page.
The cheapest car is the Hyundai i10 at 180 MAD a day; the cheapest automatic is the Renault Clio at 249 MAD, then the Hyundai Accent at 250 MAD. Over four to six days an i10 comes to 720 to 1,080 MAD, a Clio to 996 to 1,494 MAD. The kasbah lanes are not made for a car: park below and walk up.
Send the flight number on WhatsApp and the car is waiting in the arrivals hall, day or night. Ibn Battouta Airport is 12.7 km from the Grand Socco, 31 minutes via Avenue Moulay Rachid. If you arrive by sea, say which port: Tanger Ville is at the foot of the medina, Tanger Med is to the east, near Ksar Sghir.

Tetouan is 61.6 km away, 1 h 32 on the N2; Chefchaouen 112 km, 2 h 27 on the N13 into the Rif; Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, is a few kilometres west of town. Unlimited mileage matters for these trips. An i10 or a Clio is enough for the coast road to Tetouan; for the climb to Chefchaouen the Duster or the Tucson are more at ease. In July and August the Marhaba operation fills the roads around both ports: allow extra time.
