A luxury or premium car sits at the top of the fleet: a high-end model with a refined interior, advanced features, strong performance and a prestige badge. You rent one for the experience and the impression as much as for the transport.
It suits special occasions — a business trip where the car is part of the image, a wedding, an anniversary, or simply treating yourself on a milestone holiday. The comfort on long drives and the technology on board are a clear step above the mainstream classes.
The premium is real, though. The daily rate is much higher, fuel and the security deposit climb with the value of the car, and the minimum age and licence requirements are usually stricter because the repair costs are so high.
Choose luxury when the car itself is part of the occasion. If you simply need comfortable, capable transport for a touring holiday, a full-size or SUV delivers most of the comfort for a fraction of the cost and stress.
