First-Aid Kit
A first-aid kit is a small box of basic medical supplies — plasters, bandages, antiseptic, gloves and the like — kept in the car for minor injuries. It is the difference between dealing with a small cut on the spot and having nothing at all.
In many countries a first-aid kit is recommended or required to be carried, and rental cars often include one, typically in the boot. It is worth a quick look at pickup to confirm it is there and not empty or expired.
It is meant for the small stuff and for stabilising things until help arrives, not for serious emergencies. For anything significant, the priority is to call for medical help and, on a Moroccan road, to use the roadside assistance or emergency number.
If you are travelling with children or heading well off the beaten track, topping up the kit with your own basics — any personal medication, extra plasters, hand sanitiser — is a sensible, cheap precaution.
