Drop-Off Policy
The drop-off policy covers the end of the rental: which location you return the car to, by what time, and in what state. It is the mirror image of the pickup, and getting it right keeps your final bill clean.
Location is the big one. Returning to the agreed branch is included; returning somewhere else without arranging a one-way can mean a hefty charge. The time matters too, because crossing into a new rental day or arriving after hours both add cost.
Condition completes the picture. The car is expected back in similar shape to how it left, allowing for fair wear and tear, and usually with the agreed fuel level. New damage, missing fuel or excessive dirt can all be charged.
Before you hand over the keys, photograph the car inside and out, note the fuel level, and where possible get the return inspected and acknowledged so there are no surprise charges after you have left.
