Spare Tyre
A spare tyre is the replacement wheel kept in the car so you can carry on after a puncture. With the jack and wheel brace that go with it, a flat becomes a roadside delay rather than the end of your day.
Not every car has a full-size spare. Many modern cars carry a smaller "space-saver" wheel meant only for limited speed and distance to the nearest garage, and some carry no spare at all — just a tyre repair foam kit instead.
On a Moroccan road trip this matters more than in a city. Distances between towns can be long and rougher surfaces raise the puncture risk, so knowing whether you have a real spare, a space-saver or just a foam kit is worth checking before you set off.
At pickup, confirm the spare (or repair kit) is present and that the jack and tools are with it. If you would rather not change a wheel yourself, that is exactly what roadside assistance is for.
