Intermediate Car
The intermediate category — sometimes called mid-size — is the comfortable middle of the range. It offers noticeably more cabin and boot space than a compact while staying far cheaper than a full-size or premium car.
It is the natural pick for touring. Four adults can travel in reasonable comfort, the boot swallows a few proper suitcases, and the engine has enough pull for long motorway days without drinking fuel the way a big SUV would.
For a road trip across Morocco — coast, cities and a run toward the mountains or desert — an intermediate hits the balance most families and groups are after: space and stability without a luxury price tag.
If you are choosing one category to cover a varied trip, intermediate is the safe, versatile default. Drop to compact only if budget is tight and luggage is light; step up to SUV if you want height and rougher-road ability.
