Economy Car
An economy car is the small, affordable end of the fleet — think a compact hatchback that sips fuel and slots into tight parking. It is usually the cheapest category to rent and the cheapest to run, which makes it the default choice for budget-conscious travellers.
It shines in cities and on short trips. Narrow medina-side streets, busy Casablanca traffic and the constant hunt for parking all favour a small car, and the low fuel use adds up nicely over a week.
The trade-off is space and comfort on longer journeys. Two people with carry-on luggage are fine; four adults with full suitcases heading across the country will feel the squeeze, and the smaller engine works harder on mountain roads.
Choose economy when your priority is cost and city agility. If your plan involves long motorway stretches, several passengers or a lot of luggage, stepping up a category is usually worth the modest extra.
