Full-to-Full

Full-to-full is the gold standard of fuel policies, and the one experienced renters always look for. You receive the car with a full tank and your only job is to bring it back full. You pay for exactly the fuel you burned — no more, no less.

It removes the hidden margin that other policies bake in. There is no prepaid tank to overpay for and no refuelling service charge, provided you actually return it full.

The practical routine is easy: find a petrol station a few minutes from the return point, fill the tank to the top, and keep the receipt as proof of the time and location. Agencies sometimes ask to see it.

Leave a little buffer in your schedule so a closed or busy station near drop-off does not force you to return the car short, which would trigger a refuelling fee.
