Driving Licence Requirements
To rent, your driving licence has to satisfy a few basic conditions. It must be valid and not expired, cover the category of vehicle you are renting, and have been held for a minimum length of time the company sets.
Language and script matter too. A licence in the Latin alphabet is usually accepted at face value in Morocco. If yours is in a different script, an International Driving Permit alongside it removes any doubt about what it says.
You also need the physical licence with you, not a photo or a digital copy on your phone, plus the passport or ID that the booking is in. The names have to match across your licence, booking and payment card.
Check the specifics for your exact rental before you fly: minimum licence-held duration, whether an IDP is needed for your country, and any category restriction on larger vehicles. A licence problem at the desk can cancel the whole booking.
