The Creta is the cheapest automatic SUV in our fleet, and in Tetouan it has a road of its own: the N2 to Chefchaouen, 62.5 km and 1 h 22 of mountain bends. A diesel, an automatic gearbox, SUV ground clearance, that is what this road needs, without paying for a big 4x4.
Five doors, five seats, and three suitcases go in the boot. Compact enough to park in Martil or outside an M'diq hotel, tall enough for mountain roads. It rents from two days.
The Creta rents at 330 MAD a day, unlimited mileage, two-day minimum. Insurance included.
Handover at Tetouan Saniat R'mel airport, 4 km from the centre, at the bus station, or at your address in Martil, M'diq or Cabo Negro. Time and place on WhatsApp, confirmation straight after.
From Tetouan the N2 climbs towards Chefchaouen: 62.5 km, 1 h 22, and the Creta's automatic gearbox handles the bends while you watch the mountains. The round trip is 125 km in the day.
For the rest of the stay the Creta comes back down to the coast: Martil at 10.7 km on the P4707, M'diq at 14.5 km and Cabo Negro at 15.7 km on the A7. A compact SUV that parks outside the rental.
Tangier on the N2, 61.1 km in 1 h 15, for another day. Two days minimum, and at this rate the week soon makes sense.
N2 to Chefchaouen
Leave early and let the automatic gearbox handle the bends; 125 km there and back.
Three suitcases
The boot takes three suitcases; for four, look at the Tucson or the T-Roc.
Two-day minimum
Book at least two days; one for Chefchaouen, the other for the coast.
