Voucher
A voucher is the proof of your booking — the confirmation document that shows what you have reserved and, on a prepaid rate, what you have already paid. You present it at the desk, and it is matched against the reservation before the keys are handed over.
It sits at the heart of bookings made through brokers and travel agents. You pay the intermediary, they issue the voucher, and the rental company honours it on arrival. The voucher spells out the car category, the dates, what is included, and what is still payable locally.
Read it before you travel. The "included" and "payable on arrival" sections tell you exactly what the prepaid price covers and what extras — deposit, young driver fee, optional insurance — you will still settle at the counter.
Keep it accessible, digitally or printed, along with the licence and card in the lead driver’s name. No voucher can mean no car, or at best a slow, awkward check while staff track down your reservation.
